INTO THE STORM

by Kevin DeShazo

Adversity is guaranteed. We've all experienced it, and we will continue to experience it. Life is not about our adversity; it is about how we respond to it. Because if we have the correct perspective, we can use adversity to our advantage.

In this story, we look at a high school student in the middle of a difficult season. He has two options: he can face it or avoid it. â€‹

He leans on the wisdom from a well-known story about how cows and bison differ in their approach to storms. Cows, sensing fear, turn and run. They want to get to safety, but end up stuck in the storm. Bison, on the other hand, go into the storm. They still deal with the storm, but they experience less of the struggle.

Into the Storm is a story for all of us on how to handle adversity, build mental toughness, and find strength amid the struggle.

*see below to find out how you can get a free resource to build mental toughness (a bison mentality) in 30 days.

But wait, there's more!

As a complement to the book, I've created a PDF called 30 Days to a Bison Mentality. This resource is 30 days of short exercises, backed by science, to build mental toughness. Perfect for individuals or teams, students or adults. Get it below.
